Methodism or the Methodist movement is a group of historically related denominations of Protestant Christianity. It originated in 18th century Britain, and through vigorous missionary activity, spread throughout the British Empire, the United States, and beyond. Originally it appealed especially to workers, agricultural workers, and slaves. Theologically most Methodists are Arminian, emphasizing that everyone can be saved (as opposed to Calvinist predestination), and low church in liturgy. There are also a number of Calvinistic Methodists in Wales. By 2006 Methodism claimed some 75 million members worldwide.

Size and organization: The Anglican Communion is a world-wide affiliation of Anglican Churches. There is no single "Anglican Church" with universal juridical authority, since each national or regional church has full autonomy. As the name suggests, the Anglican Communion is an association of these churches in full communion with the Church of England (which may be regarded as the "mother church" of the worldwide communion), and specifically with its primate, the Archbishop of Canterbury. With over seventy seven million members, the Anglican Communion is the third largest communion in the world, after the Roman Catholic Church and the Eastern Orthodox Churches. The status of full communion means that all rites conducted in one church are recognized by the other. Some of these churches are known as Anglican, explicitly recognizing the link to England (Ecclesia Anglicana means "Church of England"); others, such as the American and Scottish Episcopal churches, or the Church of Ireland, prefer a separate name. Each church has its own doctrine and liturgy, based in most cases on that of the Church of England; and each church has its own legislative process and overall episcopal polity, under the leadership of a local primate.

Happy Birthday to me, turning 40 and wanting a Gun. LOL... Ok seriously this is my 40th birthday and I have finally talked my wife into letting me buy a shotgun. I have always wanted a shotgun, not only for home defense but also for sport shooting. I wanted a shot gun for home defense as they dont look like toys and thusly are less likely to be picked up by children and they are harded to do something stupid with, like kill ones self. Another thing I liked about the shotgun is they are scarier then hand guns to a intruder and far more likely to hit and knock down a intruder even if it is 4 am and I have just awakened to the intruder breaking in to the house. Most certainly the family will have to be trained on safety rules like all go to one room and anounce to intruder that you are armed and will shoot before searching the house.
Things I didnt want in a gun... I dont like any gun that requires me to take myself off target to shoot another round. That means pump actions and such are out of the picture for me. I also don't like guns with few rounds in them, thusly break action and such guns that only hold one to two rounds is also out. I dont want a gun with tons of recoil which would push me in the direction of a 20 guage and a heavier gun... yet I also want a good knock down power for home defense which makes the 12 gauge a favored guage. The heavier the gun the less the recoil (as I understand it) but I dont want a super heavy gun that would make sport shooting more troublesome.
So I am seeking a shotgun that is semi-auto, on moderate to light side, with large capacity mags, and low recoil. There are a couple I am considering but some are on the high end price wise and others are restricted to only military and police. If you have advice please tell me.
